Robert Rodin
Robert Rodin (born c. 1953) is an American Internet visionary, business executive and writer.〔 Shaw, Russell. "The Best of the Best". ''Netmarketing''. November, 1997.〕 He is the chairman and CEO of RDN Group, a strategic advisory firm. Rodin previously served as CEO and president of Marshall Industries, a global industrial electronics distributor, from 1992 until 1999, when it was acquired by Avnet, Inc. During his time as the chief executive at Marshall, he re-engineered the firm's compensation structure and corporate culture, disproving the notion that the Internet would kill the distribution business. Rodin is also the author of ''Free, Perfect and Now: Connecting to the Three Insatiable Customer Demands, ''published by Simon & Schuster in 1999.
==Education==
Rodin graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. He was later inducted into the University of Connecticut School of Business Hall of Fame in 2002.
